File Transfer Protocol (FTP) port 2021

Transferring data via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) has been deemed a potential security risk. In order to add an additional layer of security, Palmetto GBA completed transitioning submitters from using FTP via port 2021 to Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) via port 22 as of September 2018. As a result of security concerns, port 2021 will be disabled as of midnight December 31, 2018. Beginning on January 1, 2019 access via port 2021 will be denied and the transfer of data will only be allowed via SFTP port 22.
